Of the many years working here at Victory, I dont think I have been this excited about our summer staff this early in the year. Last year we were still filling spots until the day orientation started, but I have a feeling that this year will be different. We are moving along very quickly in filling the positions that we need this summer. This summer we are shooting for a total of 75 staff to help run our 4 camp programs. Right now we have 35 people accepted for those positions,and we have between 10 and 15 people in the process. We still have a number of spots to fill, but the rate at which people are showing interest it is very reassuring. I am hoping that we have almost all of our staff in place by the end of April.
If you know anyone, especially guys, who are interested in working at a camp in Alaska this summer please send them our way. If you dont know anyone who is interested in coming and helping out here this summer, please pray. The position I am in at camp has its hard times, but there is nothing more encouraging to hear the stories of our summer staff as they are getting excited about this summer. It is also great to see how God works everyday in putting together our summer staff. Thanks for your support.
