Changes

Hey everyone, so there has been a few changes here at camp. Summer staff has all almost officially left to go home, and we are left with just permanent staff around camp. There have been a few retreat groups in since camp was over and they are setting the pace for what camp will be like all winter. Along with staff changes Aaron and I have also made some changes. We recently moved to a bigger place. We no longer have the view from our front windows we once had, but we now have a full size kitchen, a full size laundry room, and an extra bedroom/office. Overall it is pretty sweet.
Aaron has officially started working at the church. He is currently in the process of laying out the semester for events, and studying up for Sunday school. The plan is that he will be at church 3 days a week and camp the other 2. We haven't had much contact with the youth in the area, but we are looking forward to school and sunday school starting, so we can start making some contact with them.
As far as camp goes Aaron isn't sure what he will be doing. We know that he is going to help take over the recent opening as program director, but there are still a few decisions that need to be made to determine what exactly he will be in charge of.
I have decided that i am going to start working at camp soon. Rick has asked me to take over a position handling the insurance stuff for camp, along with that i will probably assist Heather Klapak (formerly Gillespie) with some of the accounting stuff and maybe a few other office type things. I am hoping to put in about 20 hours a week and am in the beginning process of raising some support for that.
