It's Decemeber!!!

Well it is time for an update again! November flew by and we are now facing December. Just to recap what we have been doing since our last post. I have been really busy working at camp and school. The local school has extra funding this year to send it's staff out to different conferences. This is great for the school. Teachers are getting additional training that will help them to continue to improve their classrooms. This is also GREAT for me. I have recently got on the sub list and they have kept me busy. I have been in at least 1 or 2 times a week all month, the two weeks before thanksgiving I even came in 7 out of 8 days! This has helped me greatly as I pay off a little of my loans and more importantly shop for Christmas... (I love buying Christmas presents).

Aaron has been keeping himself busy at camp and at youth group. We are doing our best to get involved in the community and attended a "Kung Fu Panda" movie night at the school. We also participated in the parent vs. jr high volleyball team match last week. Every opportunity we have to get out in the community makes us feel more welcome and at home.
Aaron has also taken on the job of building Tank a dog house. It has turned out to be a great project for him and it is getting finished just in time! It should help Tank stay warm as our weather has started to dip down to -10 during the day.

We are looking forward to going to Michigan Decemeber 15th and staying with the famlily till December 25th. Seeing more of the sun will be a welcome change.

One of the last things I would like to write about is some of the differences I have noticed living out here. The biggest one that caught my attention when we were at church sunday was the modes of transportation to get there. Here is a list of the different ways people show up to church.
1. Car
2. Truck
3. Suburban
4. Snowmachine/snowmobile
5. Four wheeler
6. Bus
7. Horse Back
8. Plane.
We have seen all of these in the parking lot at Glacier view and are always amazed when we see something new show up!
