Summer Is Over...

The weather is already beginning to change here in Alaska. The leaves are turning, and hitting 60 degrees is a good day. I am quite enjoying this season of change. Looking back on this past summer is exciting. It is great to see all that God did here at camp this year. This summer was a good summer, but I am also thankful that it is over. I am tired, but I have never ended a summer this excited about the future of Victory Bible Camps. It will be great to see what God has in store.

Now for things around the house. As you can imagine our house gets a little forgotten throughout the summer season. With a couple of construction projects going on around our place there is much to do to clean that up. We got a couple of new windows in our Baby Room/Office this summer which brings a ton of light into that room as well as a level of safety that we never had there before. Also We picked up a dishwasher on the scratch and dent area at Lowes this past weekend. This will be a big help taking a little work off Chelsea's plate for when the Baby arrives. After Three nights of hard work I got it installed. I had to remove a section of cabinets in order to make space, as well as rebuild a smaller cabinet to make up for the extra space left. I quite enjoy working with wood, but with all the other things that I need to get done before snow flies I really don't have much time for it right now. It think it turned out alright. Here are the before and after shots.

Looks like a good job on the cabinet.
