Guest groups and huge blessings!

So we are still in fall season here in Alaska... Which is surprising for Alaska, because often times by October the lakes are frozen and snow is either here or threatening to be here for good!  We have had our first 2 snowfalls, which has excited Raylee to no end as she points outside and says "snow, snow" over and over again.  But nothing has stuck and often our days "warm up" to just over freezing.

Camp has swung totally into conference season and is busy almost every weekend with guest groups.  This week however we have a special group in.  Arctic Barnabas is having their yearly (?) convention here.  And missionaries from all over the state are here to learn and be encouraged.  Our job as a staff is to serve them and make their time here a great retreat...  but we have received an unexpected blessing from them as well!  This year a Team of Dentist have come up from Michigan to serve this group.  Since they came in a few days early they were willing to practice on our staff as well!  So that being said Aaron got his first dental cleaning and check up in the last 2 years!  It was such a huge blessing and we even found out that he is currently cavity free...  Another big blessing!  Many of our other staff also had a chance to take advantage of it and some even got cavities filled and root canals taken care of... non of which is fun, but stuff that isn't easy to afford on a missionary budget.  And it was all free!  This was a huge blessing to us, and we are so thankful for the time that was put into these exams.

Other happenings around camp is that we are still anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl... Our bags are packed and I just keep praying for patience and God's timing as to when she will come.  Many plans are being made tentatively as we are unsure of when we will be spending a few days in the valley transitioning to a family of 4.

Youth group is also going well.  We are really getting a chance to know a few kids that have formerly been on the outskirts of the group, and it has been good.  We are still figuring out how to make our church hang out time a good time for all the kids, but after this baby comes Aaron and I both have a few ideas of how to tweak it to hopefully fit out kids needs better.

Thank you all for your prayers and support!  We appreciate having you backing us and having you take the time pray for us...  It is a huge blessing!
