God's Provision

If you prayed for us last night, thanks!!! Last night when we went to bed we were looking at around $3500 in bills that we had no idea how we were going to pay. It lead to a restless night of sleep for me waiting until places open so I could make a few phone calls. I started on the phone at 6:30am with the warranty company for our car, then the mechanic, then the warranty company again, then the hospital, then the hospital, then the hospital... By the time we left for breakfast we had the hospital looking into the mistake in the overcharge for our billing, and the mechanic waiting to hear back from the warranty company. After returning home I called the mechanic again, and of the $2000 mechanic bill, the warranty company is going to cover all but $400 of our charges, which is what we expected the bill to be in the first place. We are still waiting to hear back from the hospital, but when I talked to the person there she said that that billing was a mistake, and that it should be much lower. I was billed for an ER visit when I just went to urgent care. I was also billed for an ER procedure. This one threw me for a loop and I began searching my body for any stitches. Again, no procedure, so I am assuming I will hear back on that one soon and be much happier with that bill as well. It has been a long summer, and with only 26 more hours until camp is over for the season I am not surprised by the attacks we have been feeling from the devil this week. I have never been more encouraged by my staff than I am this summer. We have people with great hearts who have loved endlessly the 650 campers we have seen here at Victory this summer.
