When it rains it pours...

Summer is quickly wrapping up and we have had a good, but hard summer.  The staff that God brought to us were one of the best we have seen here at camp, and many of them were hard workers filling in the gaps that could've used a few more people.  The first half of summer camper numbers looked low, and our biggest week was week 4 then they were going to get smaller after that, but God had other plans.  We ended up filling up most of camp and keeping high numbers the majority of the last 3 wks and many kids were able to hear the truth of the gospel.

However, as we end a great summer Aaron and I are getting hit hard.  We are having a hard time finishing strong.  I am in the process of quitting my job in the financial office (it has been a month long process) so that I have the freedom to be home with Raylee and support Aaron in his ministry here.  And this week we have been hit with 2 big unanticipated bills.  One to get our car we bought last march fixed and the other to pay off a medical bill for Aaron when he went to the doctor for bronchitis this summer.  We could really use your prayers as we are a bit discouraged and not sure how or what God's plan is in all of this.

We are looking forward to a much needed trip to Michigan in 3 weeks, but again, the plane ticket is bought, but being able to fully leave some of the stresses behind is needed.  Pray for us during that time (Aug. 18-Sept.27 that we will find time to rest, relax and rejuvenate as a family.)
