God on display

We are back to our "normal" winter weather of temperatures that flirty with 0 degrees and often go into the negatives.  But there are the days that it warms up a little bit to snow and Skyler and Chelsea have taken advantage of the warmer days and have been out cross country skiing a few times.  We are headed into the best 2 months of winter, where it is often warmer (around freezing) and we get fresh snow every few days.

One of the fun things about these cold dark days though, are the nights that God decides to show off...  The other night the Northern Lights were going crazy!  We missed it because we don't often think about going outside to look for them, but the pictures that blew up my facebook just reminded me of what an awesome God we serve.  Here is one of the photos that was taken here at camp outside Miracle Lodge.  Apparently they went from green to pink, purple, and blue.
